With the Dell Power companion you can charge your laptop on the go and it includes two extra ports to charge other devices like your smartphone via usb ports.

What I really like about the Dell Power Companion is the design. Its not bulky and easily fits on the Dell Premier Backpack or the Dell Premier Briefcases.

Its also very light weighing only 10.33 ounces.

So for the inspiron 15’s I recommend the 18000 mAh, 6 Cell version

If you haven’t gotten a backpack or carrying case for your inspiron get the one above. If you already have one, read on anyway and consider this for your future purchase.

This Dell Premier Slim backpack is definitely durable.

The slim appearance can be deceiving though. But you will find you can fit more items in it than you think at first glance.

Its thoughtfully designed and fits well with the 15 inch laptops and  other dell accessories for example the Dell Power companion I mentioned above.

The  added padding on the back increases the comfort on your back from the laptop hitting your back especially if your inspiron is on the heavy side.

Comes very handy when you travel a lot, in between flights and is classy enough (well according to me) for business meetings.

Dell UltraSharp Screen LED-Lit Monitor

Previously I had a Dell a Dell Inspiron 3525. I didn’t like the screen. At first I thought it wasn’t too bad but then I started editing clients pictures and doing some graphics. It seemed odd the colors seemed off on some of the printed products and on some screens.  Until I realized the color and clarity on my laptop had issues.

Luckily I have an extra monitor. I  connected to the Dell Ultrasharp monitor with the HDMI cable. My laptop screen was a real rip off in comparison. The clarity on the Dell Ultrasharp was impressive.

Like I said earlier some of the hardware that is used on the lower end of the inspirons is not good. You can definitely use an external monitor and you will be surprised by the difference if your laptop screen is as bad as the inspiron 3525 one.

Having an external screen is also great especially when I pretend am good at multitasking, having a bunch of stuff on different screens.

You will also like the QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution monitor with its consistency and color accuracy if the visual stuff part of your work.

5. Logitech C922x Pro Stream Webcam

First off if you just need the webcam for skyping and video chatting with friends then the webcam on your computer is fine. But if you are gonna do some professional video streaming then you need the Logitech Pro Stream webcam.

If you have the bandwidth, the c922x Webcam can stream your video in 1080p quality. If you planning on doing YouTube, Twitch videos or any vlogging then this is the webcam for you.

I was particularly impressed with the quality of the video in low light conditions. Most cameras are are good as long as there is proper lighting. When the lighting is poor you get poor video, but with this Logitech Pro Stream webcam the quality is pretty good.

On streaming you have the option of streaming your videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second or 720 at 60 frames per second.

For gamers you will be happy to know that you don’t need to weird green screen setups for background removal. It comes with a background removal /replacement feature which is powered by personify.

First, I have to say, most laptop keyboards are great. Very convenient especially on the go.  Yes they are exceptions but laptop keyboards and touch-pads are good in general.

There are instances though when you need an external mouse and keyboard. Say for example you playing Call of Duty on your laptop, then definitely you need an external mouse. Of course if you are really serious about gaming you will get proper gaming mouse.

I play online chess a lot on my laptop and the touchpad simple is not fast enough in bullet.  So I usually end up using the Logitech MK520 Wireless Keyboard.

The size also is convenient, it fits on your backpack easily. The keyboard and mouse have one unifying receiver which saves you an extra port on your computer.

I was curious on the range of the wireless receiver. It can reach about 10m and above that it starts acting up. Which is pretty good

Anywhere who uses a laptop from a 10m distance.

The keyboard also uses 28-bit AES bit encryption, which is not really necessary but its good to know.

Of course every good keyboard has to have media keys, and the MK520 doesn’t disappoint.

Yes I know this is the age of cloud storage and fast internet, you can upload your files on multiple online cloud services like dropbox.

But this largely depends on the type of work you do. As I have mentioned above I work with videos and photos a lot. Its not practical for me to be saving my 4k raw footage videos online. Also they tend to fill up my internal  1 terabyte hard drive pretty quickly.

Depending on what you do I would also recommend you get  at least the 2 or 3 terabyte one external hard drive.

You can easily backup your files, with a speed of 5400 RPM and transfer Rate of Up to 5 Gb/s its really good.

Its portable, easily fits in the palm of your hand and has built in internal shock sensor

8.Anti-Glare Whole Screen Protector Film for Dell Inspiron

If you have a touchscreen Dell laptop then you need the Anti-glare matte finish whole screen protector film for your Dell Inspiron.

You dont want to be seeing fingerprint on your screen as your work, this makes your laptop screen  scratch, smudges and fingerprints proof.

The good thing is this is cheap and will keep your computer screen looking good for a long time.
